SS Rajamouli’s RRR released in March 2022 and ever since then the film has been the talk of the town. The film got recognition not only on domestic platforms but also internationally. It starred Jr NTR and Ram Charan in pivotal roles. The film won several awards including the Golden Globes award and Oscars among others. Well, it continues to win hearts. Recently, at the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2023, Jr NTR won the award for best actor in a leading role for the film RRR. After receiving the honour, the actor gave an emotional speech on the stage and it is winning hearts.

At SIIMA 2023, Jr NTR won the award for best actor. After receiving the accolade, he gave a heartfelt speech thanking director SS Rajamouli and co-star Ram Charan. He said, “I would love to thank my co -star, my brother, my friend Charan for standing beside me as a pillar of support for RRR. Last but not the least I would love to thank all my fans. I bow down to my fans who have always been with me through my ups and downs. You have been my pillar of support at all times. You people shed a tear along with me whenever I was in pain and smiled in unison with me when I am happy”.

About SIIMA 2023
SIIMA is a two-day award function that is currently taking place in Dubai. The occasion celebrates the best of South Indian movies from the Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada film industries. On the first day of the award night, Telugu and Kannada film industry winners were announced. Apart from Jr NTR, Mrunal Thakur, Adivi Sesh, and Rishab Shetty also won awards for Sita Ramam, Major, and Kantara.
