Kajal Aggarwal’s role ‘chopped off’ from Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan starrer Acharya, confirms Koratala Siva

Chiranjeevi starrer Acharya is one of the most-anticipated movies of the year. The movie also stars Ram Charan. Actress Kajal Aggarwal, who was supposed to play the leading lady opposite Chiranjeevi in Acharya, is now not a part of it. Director Koratala Siva has himself confirmed it. Earlier, there were reports that Kajal is not part of the film. It was during a promotional interview the director confirmed that the actress’ role is “completely chopped off from Acharya”.

As per a report in Pinkvilla, Koratala Siva said, “After completing the first schedule, I watched the rush and was not convinced. I discussed the same with Megastar garu and he asked me to take the final call. I explained the same to Kajal and she responded with a smile. Kajal’s role is completely chopped off from Acharya.”

He also said that Pooja Hegde is now playing Neelambari, Ram Charan’s the love interest and there is no leading lady opposite Chiranjeevi in Acharya.

Kajal Aggarwal recently welcomed a baby boy along with her husband Gautam Kitchlu. They named him Neil Kitchlu.

Talking about Acharya, the trailer was released on April 12. It shows Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan who play comrades reuniting to fight against the Endowments Department misusing temple funds and donations. Acharya has received a U/A certificate, and it is all set to hit the screens on April 29.
