The actor who recently wrapped up his work for Sohail Khan’s directorial ‘Ali’ is all ready to come up with something new for his upcoming project titled ‘Munna Michael’.

Nawazuddin has been signed on to play a grey shade role but what comes more as a surprise is that he would be seen grooving to well choreographed songs for the first time. ‘Munna Michael’ will see this powerhouse performer locking horns with dancing sensation Tiger Shroff who is playing the lead role.

‘Munna Michael’ is helmed by Sabbir Khan, which marks his third collaboration with Tiger after ‘Heropanti’ and ‘Baaghi’. Talking about the role of Nawaz in this film, the director excitingly said, “There is a lot more dancing in ‘Munna Michael’. It will be the first time you will see Nawaz dancing in several full-fledged, choreographed songs”.

“I’ve been a huge fan of Nawaz. Once again, he takes on an extremely complex character, layered with emotions like jealousy, joy and ambition,” added Sabbir.

Reportedly, Nawazuddin would start the prep for his role by attending dance workshops with Tiger next week. The shooting of the movie is scheduled to begin in the first week of September. The location recce is currently underway as the film is being planned to be shot in real locations.

‘Munna Michael’ is a romantic musical which will see Tiger playing a wannabe Michael Jackson from the streets of Teen Batti, where ironically his father Jackie had grown up.

This would be quite unique and interesting to see Tiger and Nawazuddin for the very first time onscreen. Let’s wait for more updates on this project.
