Kalki 2898 AD trailer OUT: Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan impress with their action; Deepika Padukone’s motherly instincts stir emotions

The much-awaited trailer of Kalki 2898 AD starring Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone has been released and it looks fascinating. The trailer takes you to a dystopian world where the leads are fighting for good and wrong. The trailer looks spectacular and not only does it take everyone back in time but also delivers a surprising twist with Deepika’s transformative look. As the trailer starts, we are introduced to Amitabh Bachchan’s character Ashwathama who looks calm and loaded with immense power. He has a powerful stone on his forehead that tells us about his strength and power.

Furthermore, we get to see a dystopian world that is way ahead of its time. But it is Deepika’s character that grabs attention. Deepika who is pregnant in real life was also seen pregnant in the movie as well and that’s quite beautiful. She is seen wearing a brown costume. One melts looking at her and while the fans are saying, “Queen is mothering”, it is the emotions of motherhood that Deepika brings on-screen in the trailer.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD also stars Disha Patani and Kamal Haasan. The movie is scheduled to release on June 27.
