Pushpa actor Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari ARRESTED in the junior artists’ suicide case

Actor Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari is very well known for his role in Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise. However, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari has now been arrested by the police over a girl who died by suicide in the previous month. He was arrested after allegedly harassing the girl. After this, she deeply got affected and took the drastic step of ending her life.

As per reports, it is being said that Jagadeesh took photos of his junior artist in Hyderabad when she was indulged in a compromising situation without her consent. Reportedly, he was is a live in relationship with her. Jagadeesh allegedly harassed the girl by showing the pictures to another person. Not only this, it is also alleged that the actor threatened to put the pictures on social media. Being deeply affected by this, the girl committed suicide on November 29.

As per reports, the body was sent to post mortem after a case was filed by the Panjagutta police. After the body’s post-mortem, the police found out about Jagadeesh allegedly harassing her after which he was taken into custody. He will be appearing in court today.

According to Times Of India, it is being said that the actor was in a relationship with the girl a couple of years ago. Later, the two parted ways to focus on their careers. However, police reports say that he used to contact her constantly and shared private photos. He also tried to emotionally blackmail her. On the complaint by the girl’s father, the police had also filed a case under Section 306 (abetment to suicide) against Jagadeesh Bandari.

However, Pushpa actor Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari is yet to respond to the claims.
