Ram Charan’s sister Niharika Konidela announces divorce from husband Chaitanya Jonnalagadda

Rumors of Niharika Konidela and Chaitanya Jonnalagadda’s divorce made rounds over the internet for the past few months. Now, the actress has brought an end to such speculations as she took to Instagram announcing the divorce from Chaitanya. Niharika Konidela is the cousin of South superstar Ram Charan and the niece of veteran South actor Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan.

The duo married each other in December 2020. Reports are of the opinion that the divorce was filed by Chaitanya less than a month before.

As Niharika took to Instagram announcing her split, she kept her comments section off. Her statement read, “Chaitanya and I have decided to mutually part ways and ask for kindness and sensitivity as we move on. Thank you to my family and friends who have been pillars of support. I request some privacy to navigate this new normal in private. Thank you for understanding.”

Niharika and Chaitanya married each other in a grand wedding in Udaipur in 2020. Turning out to be one of the biggest celebrity wedding of the year, well-known actors from the Telugu cinema including Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun, Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan among others also attended the wedding.

Ram Charan had taken to Instagram sharing the wedding news of Niharika and Chaitanya. He had captioned the photo saying, “@niharikakonidela papa .. the best choice u have made!! Congratulations to both of you!! @chaitanya_jv”. Ram Charan’s wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela had congratulated the duo on their new journey. She captioned the photo saying, “Congratulations @niharikakonidela & @chaitanya_jv Off to a fab start.” Niharika Konidela was recently spotted leaving the hospital as she visited Ram Charan and wife Upasana Konidela’s new born baby.
