Sidharth Malhotra CONFIRMS he is SINGLE and not ready to mingle

Bollywood hunk Sidharth Malhotra is currently busy with the shoot of his upcoming film ‘Jabariya Jodi’ in Lucknow alongside Parineeti Chopra. The actor has always managed to hit headlines when it comes to his relationship status and was recently rumored to be close to actress Kiara Advani. But the hunk has finally admitted that he is very much single and is no mood to mingle as yet.

In a recent interview with DNA, Sidharth opened up about his relationship status and has confirmed that he is single (there were reports of him dating actor Kiara Advani). The actor asserted that he is right now only focusing on his work and is not in search of love. He also stated that he has no plans of settling down anytime soon.

In the interview, when Sidharth was asked if he is single, he said, “Yes, I’m single. I’m not looking for love right now as well. I came to Mumbai with a dream. I need to do a lot of things to achieve my goals. I want to put all my energies in it.”

When asked if he has any regrets of sorts with the way he had led his personal and professional life, he said, “Professionally, I don’t have any regrets. I have never wanted to do the same thing. I have learned something from every film. Yes, of course, the best is yet to come. Personally, too (pauses), there’s nothing. You can’t really call them regrets. Right now, I don’t have the luxury of choosing my personal life over my professional life. In this phase of my life, I have no time or space for it.”

Sidharth was earlier in a relationship with ‘Raazi’ actor Alia Bhatt but the duo split last year. Alia is now rumoured to be dating her ‘Brahmastra’ co-star Ranbir Kapoor.

On the work front, Sidharth is busy with ‘Jabariya Jodi’. The romantic-comedy is being directed by Prashant Singh and is being co-produced by Ekta Kapoor. The film that was earlier titled as ‘Shotgun Shaadi’. It also stars Aparshakti Khurrana, who will be seen portraying the role of Parineeti’s neighbour. Sidharth, on the other hand, will play a Bihari thug in the movie.

Sidharth will also be seen in a film based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra.
