Sonam-Anand Sangeet Ceremony: Will the Ahuja’s arrive in Mumbai tonight?

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are all set to get hitched on May 8, 2018. The preparations for the D-Day are already on since many days at the Kapoor household. Yesterday, the Mehendi ceremony of Sonam Kapoor had not only the groom but family and friends too in attendance. But many were left wondering as Sonam’s in-laws were not to be seen at the function.

Well, here is the good news, Anand Ahuja’s parents and siblings will soon join in the sangeet function tonight.

As reported by Pinkvilla, “Anand’s father Sunil Ahuja is a prominent Delhi businessman and he, his wife Beena and their three children, brothers Anant Ahuja and Amit Ahuja and sister Priyadarshini have taken a chartered flight to Mumbai from Delhi at noon today.”

Not only Anand’s family, but also some prominent politician who are close family friends will arrive in Mumbai for the wedding. “Akhilesh Yadav, the current President of the Samajwadi Party, is said to be very close to the Ahuja family and his wife and the Anand family’s other politician friends will leave from Delhi tomorrow and flow down to Mumbai on the chartered plane to attend the reception tomorrow night,” the source added.

Not many know that Anand Ahuja is the founder and CEO of his fashion brand, Bhane and is also the co-founder of Veg Non Veg, India’s first multi-brand sneaker boutique. He comes from one of Delhi’s most illustrious business families. They own Shahi Exports, that is the biggest export companies in India.
