Deepika Padukone

Deepika made her first appearance as a jury member dressed head to toe in Louis Vuitton. The actress wore a sleeveless mini dress which was layered with a high neck white dress. Deepika completed her look with brown knee-high boots by the label and for accessories, Padukone opted for a rectangle box bag, the Ram Leela actress managed to keep it classy yet casual with this look.

After wearing an all things Louis Vuitton look, Deepika then was seen in a Sabyasachi ensemble. The Ram Leela actress was all about summer florals and retro vibes. She wore a Mysore silk shirt that was paired with green pleated wool flared trousers. Padukone went heavy on the accessories as she wore a Bengal trophy brown belt, embellished platform heels, a Lucknow rose necklace, simple circular drop mini earrings and a matching bandana. While the leggy beauty is the queen of elegance, this look was overcrowded and overwhelming in every way.

As we were just catching our breaths from Deepika’s retro look, the actress served another Sabhyasachi look. Deepika stepped out in a Bengal Tiger couture saree by Sabyasachi. It was a gold and black striped number which was paired with a black strapless blouse. For accessories, the Piku actress opted for an embellished headband, stacked rings, and chandelier earrings all by the Calcutta based designer. For make-up, the fashionista’s loaded black eyeshadow was unmissable and a bit of a downer as well. But overall this look gets a thumbs-up from us.

Deepika Padukone then stepped out in a power suit on Day 2. She wore a black Ard Az Aei pantsuit which had a flared hem giving the jacket a pee-plum fit. The double weave silk oozed sophistication. For accessories, Padukone skipped the earrings and opted only for a Cartier diamond-studded neckpiece which panther face ends. Her hair was in a messy bun and the actress wore a bold red statement lip. This is one of the best looks like Deepika so far and it surely gets a double thumbs up from us.

Finally, on Day 3, the leggy beauty of Bollywood made heads turn with her show-stopping look. Padukone looked gorgeous in a Louis Vuitton custom made number in bright red. The top had a peplum fit with a plunging neckline and the outfit flared out at the bottom, she paired the dress with a diamond-studded Cartier necklace. Her hair was tied in a sleek updo and the makeup again had a statement bold red lip. While Deepika looked stunning in this one, we have seen her in much better ensembles.

Also part of Deepika’s Cannes dairies was a beautiful black off-shoulder silhouette dress which was the show stopper for sure.  She kept it minimal and classy with Cartier jewellery. Her hair was in a messy bun and her makeup was kept neutral.

As Deepika is now a Louis Vuitton girl, we saw the actress paint the French Rivera pink with her casual yet couture worthy looks. We absolutely love all three of them.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Aishwarya never fails to impress with her looks at Cannes and in 2022 as well she made heads turn on the red carpet. On Day 1, Aish was dressed head to toe in Maison Valentino, her look consisted of a bright pink shirt layered with a double-breasted jacket, and flared bottoms in the same shade. Completing the look were matching platform pointed-toe pumps. Aishwarya opted for minimal accessories as she wore studded earrings and rings, her makeup was kept sheer and glossy. Day one was a success in the fashion department for the Devdas actress.

Mrs Bachchan graced the red carpet on Day 2 wearing a Dolce and Gabbana gown which sure did leave everyone stunned for not the right reasons. The black satin gown had floral accents that made up for one of the sleeves and the body of the gown. The actress opted for mini drop earrings and stacked rings for the accessories. Her hair was let down loose with a partial updo. This look just did not do it for us. On a met gala carpet, it would be a stunner not for Cannes.

On Day 3, Aishwarya Rai made heads turn in a Gaurav Gupta number. The gown is called The Venus Scluplture and it was a blend of pink and purple with embellishments. The gown flared out at the bottom and had an upturned piece at the back. Aishwarya’s makeup was on point and her accessories were kept minimal. The actress looked gorgeous in this pink number but the back piece just didn’t work for us.

Also part of Aishwarya’s Cannes looks was a Dolce Gabanna ombre pink sequinned gown which was a total stunner and her accessories complemented the look making it on point. Aish could step out on the red carpet in this, it would have been applaud worthy. She was also seen in a pink casual look where she wore a pink blazer with mom jeans and really confusing multicolour heels.

Hina Khan

Hina Khan was by far one of the best dressed at Cannes 2022 and there is no denying that. On the first day, the actress stepped out in a red Rami Al Ali gown. The strapless number had a fitted pleated top with Sunray pleated silk gown. She paired the gown with silver platform heels by London Rag India and her accessories were kept minimum with studded earrings. While this look would have been a stunner for any other event, it was just too simple for Cannes.

On the second day, Hina looked like an absolute stunner as she wore a black lace Fovari number. It was a sexy lacy a-line dress with a trail at the back. She paired the look with minimal pear earrings by Anaqa Jewels. Khan rounded off the look with simple strappy heels by Shoemill. She opted for a bold brown lip with hair parted to the side. This sexy number was a winner for us.

Hina made a grand entry on the third day, in a Sophie Couture lavender gown. It had a beautiful floral design with feather work. The front was a mini dress with a dramatic trail at the back. She opted for minimal makeup and jewellery by Renu Oberoi. Paired with the gown were silver heels by Lori blue making the look quite the show stopper.

Hina also looked blessed by the fashion gods as she painted the French Rivera gold with her Golden dress which took our breath away. It was a strapless Fovari number with a risque thigh-high slit. She completed the look with studded earrings from Mozaati and golden strappy heels from Saint G World.

Pooja Hegde

Pooja Hegde kicked off her Cannes diaries in a white Hondya outfit. It was a white embroidered mini dress with a matching cape at the back. She paired the look with gold hoop earrings by Misho designs and blue pumps by Louboutin. Pooja kept it elegant and classy with this one.

Next, Pooja stepped on the red carpet in a Maison Gheyana Younis gown. It was a heavily feathered number in light peach. It had an embroidered silver corset which descended in feathers. She had he hair in a sleek ponytail and rounded off the look with diamond-studded earrings by Nour by Jahan. Pooja started off Cannes on a good note but this overload of feathers gets a thumbs down from us.

Tamannaah Bhatia

Also seen at Cannes was Tamannaah Bhatia who hit the red carpet on the first day in a Gauri and Nainika gown. It was a black and white duchess satin mermaid gown with a draped neck and flowing train. For accessories, the Baahubali actress went for mosaic diamond studded earrings by Jaipur Gems. Her make-up was kept neutral with hair parted to the side. While Tamannaah looked gorgeous in this ensemble, the gown just didn’t do it for us.

On the second day, Tamannaah stepped out in a Yanina Couture sequined number which had a thigh-high slit and a plunging neckline. The dress was paired with a black sheer cape. Her hair was tied in a sleek bun and the actress completed the look with dangling diamond-studded earrings by Jaipur jewels. Tamannaah may have looked gorgeous on the red carpet in the past but this I’ll fitted dress was just too off-putting.

Also part of her other looks during the interactions with the media, Tamannaah wore a yellow stripped Amit Agarwal cowl fit off-shoulder gown which gave some fresh summer vibes. But her look in the Bershka neon pantsuit seemed questionable, especially with the lavender lace inner shirt.

Pooja was also seen in a Roberto Cavalli number which looked stunning and more. She wore a yellow flared dress with a zebra print jacket and a statement black belt with Santonio heels in black. Her hair was paired in the centre and she rounded off the look with cool shades. This look was a total stunner for us.

Urvashi Rautela

Urvashi may have been a stunner on most red carpets but for Cannes 2022 she could not manage to impress. She wore a white ruffled gown by Tony Ward Couture which had Christmasy or better yet fruit like detailing which left us asking, Why? He hair was in tied in a braided bun with silver diamond studded earrings and rings.
