Akanksha Chamola Breaks Silence On Gaurav Khanna’s Lock Upp Appearance Amid Divorce
In a recent interview with Zoom, Akanksha explained that Gaurav’s visit to the show was not to support her but to clear his name. She emphasised that at that time, she was in the process of getting divorced, and she didn’t want her ex-husband to come and support her because she was unsure of his intentions. She stated, “He came to clear his name,” and clarified that he did not come to support her during her game, nor did he provide any reassurance about their relationship.
Akanksha also addressed the criticism centered around her mentioning her parents and dog in the same context as Gaurav, calling it “selective moral policing.” She urged social media users to be consistent in their judgments, saying, “If you are going to moral-police everything, then do it for everything. Don’t be picky. If you want to lynch me, do it for all the right reasons. Don’t pick and choose.”
About Their Divorce
She further expressed her willingness to apologise if she was wrong but challenged others to prove her wrong if they believed her comments were inappropriate. Akanksha and Gaurav Khanna, who married in 2016 in Kanpur, have reportedly been living apart for a year, and her comments have sparked a broader discussion about personal boundaries, public perception, and moral policing in social media discourse.
