Anupamaa: Rupali Ganguly’s onscreen son Paras Kalnawat tests COVID 19 positive; Show’s shoot comes to a halt

Anupamaa fans there’s a sad piece of news for you all. Paras Kalwant, who plays the role of Rupali Ganguly’s (Anupamaa) onscreen son Samar Shah, has tested positive for COVID 19. Yes, as unfortunate as it may be, Paras has been diagnosed with the novel Coronavirus. Paras Kalnawat had not been keeping well for quite some time and had undergone medical tests. His test results came out this morning, which revealed that he has been infected with COVID.

Post Paras’ test results, the shooting of the show has come to a complete halt. The remaining cast and crew are currently undergoing COVID 19 tests, as per mandatory protocols. According to a report in SpotboyE, Paras has contracted Coronavirus, and for precautionary reasons, the whole cast and crew of the show are being tested for Coronavirus. The shooting of Anupamaa has been spotted.

Anupamaa is one of the most loved shows on Indian Television right now. The show stars Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey (Vanraj) in the lead roles. Apart from them, Madalsa Sharma (Kavya Gandhi), Tasneem Sheikh (Rakhi), Aashish Mehrotra (Paritosh) are also seen in pivotal roles in the Anupamaa. Paras Kalnawat plays the duo’s younger son on the show.

The show has been ruling the TRP charts ever since it began its journey on TV. Anupamaa has been taking the number spot on the TRP list, giving a tough competition to other shows. Well, we hope, Paras recovers soon and jumps back into action, and hope that the shootings beginning ASAP.

Meanwhile, many celebs from the Indian Television industry had tested positive for COVID-19.
