The latest TRP report for Week 16 is out, and it brings a noticeable shake-up in the television rankings. While some long-standing favourites continue to hold strong, a few shows have slipped, and one surprising entry has climbed sharply into the top three. This week reflects shifting viewer preferences, with family dramas still dominating but newer narratives steadily gaining ground.
Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 Remains Undefeated In TRP Race
At the top, Smriti Irani’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 continues its winning streak. The show secured the number one position with a 1.8 rating. Although it dipped slightly from last week’s 2.0, it still leads the chart comfortably. Backed by Ekta Kapoor, the iconic series has maintained strong audience engagement, with Tulsi’s storyline keeping viewers invested. With the entry of Akashdeep Saigal as Tulsi’s grandson on the show.
Next, Zee TV’s Vasudha holds steady at the second spot. The show recorded a 1.7 rating, down from 1.8 last week. Despite the dip, it continues to perform consistently and has emerged as a strong contender in recent weeks.
The biggest surprise this week comes from Zee TV’s Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan, which jumped to the third position with a 1.7 rating. Produced by Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta, the show climbed from sixth place last week. This sharp rise signals growing popularity and a strong audience connection.
Meanwhile, Anupamaa, starring Rupali Ganguly, slipped to the fourth spot. Its rating dropped from 1.8 to 1.6 this week. It now shares the same rating with Tumm Se Tumm Tak, which stands at fifth place with 1.6.
