She shared that she experienced a difficult phase but found strength through her family’s support and now feels content. After four years of marriage, Hansika parted ways with Sohael, maintaining her stance on keeping her personal life private and not revealing details about the breakup. While she is involved in a legal dispute with her estranged sister-in-law, she finally broke her silence, stating that she has no regrets.

In an interview with Hauterrfly, Hansika Motwanni was asked about how those around her reacted when a significant chapter of her life ended. Without directly addressing the divorce rumours, she said, “People wanted clickbait, they got it. They wanted headlines; they got it. I have never clarified it, nor will I, because it doesn’t matter to me. It’s fine. I have no regrets. It’s better to get off the wrong train than suffer on it. I have immense support from my family. I have no regrets. I am very happy where I am.”

Hansika Motwanni On Love And Relationships

When asked about her perspective on love, she responded, “Love is beautiful, and right now I don’t know when the time is right. I think the universe will guide me.” The actress from Koi… Mil Gaya also mentioned that for her, marriage signifies companionship, stability, and growth.

Sharing how her mother and brother supported her through tough times, Hansika said, “Both my mother and my brother told me, ‘If you are not comfortable, don’t go through with it.’ They have seen me in a very dark space—a very dark space. I am usually a very happy, cheerful person. For me to go into such a dark space was alarming. So they just said, ‘Whatever you decide.’ And honestly, even now, no one knows what exactly happened between us, and I think that’s best. I always believe that what happens between two people is known only to them. There’s nothing anyone else can say or comment about.”

About Hansika And Sohael

Hansika and Sohael tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in December 2022 after dating for several years. Rumours about their separation have been circulating since July 2025. According to a report in HT City, “Hansika has moved in with her mother, while Sohael is staying with his parents.” In March 2026, they officially obtained a divorce, with Hansika asserting that she has not received any alimony.

Following their split, her sister-in-law, Muskaan Nancy James, accused Hansika and Sohael of domestic violence and h*rassment. In response, Hansika filed a case in a Mumbai sessions court seeking Rs 2 crore in damages and a public apology. She claimed the allegations were false and defamatory.
