“For me, freedom is the ability to live life on your own terms while respecting the dignity and rights of others,” she shares. “It’s about having the space to dream big, make your own choices, and shape your own path whether that’s in my career, personal life, or as a citizen of this country. True freedom also means equality, where every individual has the same opportunities regardless of gender, background, or beliefs.”

When it comes to patriotism, Nikita finds her inspiration both on screen and in music. “Chak De! India is more than just a movie to me, it’s a reminder of teamwork, perseverance, and the power of never giving up, no matter the odds. And every time I hear Vande Mataram, I get goosebumps. It’s that surge of pride and gratitude for being part of a nation with such a rich history and culture.”
