Indian Idol 12: Dharmendra and Asha Parekh to appear on the show; former reveals what he bought with his first salary

Last week, the singing talent hunt show Indian Idol 12 witnessed a massive jump on the TRP list all thanks to its immensely talented contestants and its equally engaging celebrity judges.

This week, evergreen actors Dharmendra and Asha Parekh will be gracing the show. The veteran actors will share some fun anecdotes with the contestants and also recall their heydays. It was then when Dharmendra revealed that he bought liquor with his first salary. Read on know what the Sholay actor shared.

Indian Idol 12 will be having Dharmendra and Asha Special episode this week. The veteran actors will be seen recreating some of their evergreen songs like Kuch Kehta Hai Yeh Sawan on the talent hunt show. On the show, host Aditya Narayan is known for making the celeb judges share some fun anecdotes or recall memorable incidents from their career.

It was then when Dharmendra revealed what he bought with his first paycheck. The Apne actor also shared how nervous he was while shooting his first scene. As per the reports, the Chupke Chupke actor recalled, “I feel blessed to be a part of this industry which had given me immense respect for my efforts. During my first shot, I was very nervous about the reaction of my director, but he didn’t give any feedback to me. But, he got me a tiffin box with yummy food. Actually, I got so uncomfortable that the director didn’t give me feedback but in the end, I was happy that I got some good time to spend with him.”

Dharmendra further added, “When I got my first cheque, the first thing which I did was went into the shop and purchased a bottle to drink.”

Well, that’s an unheard and amusing thing we got to know about the veteran actor. On the show, both Dharmendra and Asha will be seen showering the contestants with their blessings and winning hearts all over again with their chemistry.
