Comedian-actor Kapil Sharma is currently on a tour in Australia. During one of his shows in Melbourne, he paid tribute to legendary singer Mohammed Rafi by singing a song of him. Kapil crooned the song, Parda Hai Parda from the movie, Amar Akbar Anthony. The video of Kapil from Melbourne has gone viral on social media. It has been shared on his Instagram handle as well.

Kapil started with the lines, “Shabab Pe Main Zara Si Sharab Phekunga Kisi Hasin Ki Taraf Ye Gulaab Phekunga.” He also said, “Shukriya zorr daar taali hojaaye, Rafi saheb ke liye, humaare Amritsar ke rehne waale the” (Give a huge round of applause for Mohammad Rafi, he belonged to our Amritsar city).” The huge crowd was seen cheering for him.

Kapil is now gearing up for the third season of his comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show. The promo of the show was recently released and Akshay Kumar, Rakul Preet Singh will be gracing the show to promote their movie, Cuttputlli. The show will air from September 10. Kapil will play the role of Kappu Sharma, while Sumona Chakravarti will play his wife Bindu. Kiku Sharda will be seen as Gudiya, while Chandan Prabhakar is playing Kappu’s friend Chandan.

In the promo, Akshay Kumar was taking a pot shot at Kapil as he blamed him for his movies tanking at the box office.
