Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi (KRPKAB) new season has begun, and fans are thrilled. The actors on the show are equally delighted to be a part of yet another beautiful, heartfelt story. Shaheer Sheikh, who, along with Erica Fernandes and Supriya Pilgaonkar, reprised his character in the third season of Yash and Mamta Patnaik show, sounds excited about it.  In fact, he says that the KRPKAB crew is like family to him, which is why working on the newest season felt like they had never left home.

The initial impression of déjà vu made us all feel as if we had never stopped and been simply continuing with the same scenario, only the time had changed. In fact, it seemed as though we’d been filming the entire time. Starting from where we left the storey, equations and bonds made the voyage memorable,” he says. Then, Shaheer talks about his on-screen character, Dev. The show is relatable in the sense that it makes you feel as though such situations and issues happen all the time or have been experienced by a family member, relative, or friend.

“It’s a good thing because TV needs this type of content, and the over-the-top approach must give way to realism. My character, Dev, hasn’t changed much, but his interactions with the other characters have. We’re trying to show how a relationship develops through time and what happens a few years after marriage,” he said

While he is pleased with how his on-screen character has evolved, the actor admits that he does not relate with his character. Dev is a really complicated person, but I am a very basic and straightforward person. However, Dev has taught me a lot, such as how to deal with particular types of people better or how to manage multiple things at once,” says the actor, who is also renowned for TV dramas such as Kya Mast Hai Life, Navya..Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal, and Mahabharat. The current season of the show began filming in Siliguri because the Maharashtra government had imposed limits on shooting in the state due to an increase in COVID-19 cases at the time.

“Once again, the writers have done a terrific job and have come up with a very good storyline that moves the narrative ahead. We are hoping that the third season will be well received by audiences. They have showered us with so much love and support, and we don’t want to let them down,” he ends.
