After Rannvijay Singha and Neha Dhupia, now Nikhil Chinapa will also be not part of Roadies new season. It was confirmed by Nikhil himself and he said that he will miss his gang leaders. The host-VJ was part of Roadies since 2017. Apparently, MTV Roadies is going back to its original format, where there will be no gang leaders and only a host will take over the adventure reality show. Sonu Sood will step into the shoes of Rannvijay Singha as the host of the show.

Nikhil told Indian Express that he has loved his journey on the show. He added, “I am definitely going to miss the atmosphere, the challenges, the conversations with my fellow gang leaders and the crew, who are like my extended family”.

On the fresh format, Nikhil said that “MTV has always been at the forefront of innovation and has consistently exhibited thought leadership in the youth space.”

He further wished good luck to the new season which he expects will be as dynamic as previous seasons “except without the audacity and charm of gang leaders and a new host in Sonu Sood.”

The shoot for Roadies Season 18 will begin soon in South Africa and it is expected to go on air in March on MTV.
