Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande’s popular show Pavitra Rishta has completed 12 years. The actress went live on Instagram for her fans to celebrate this special moment and also cut a beautiful fan made cake. During the live session she shared several memories related to the show and thanked her fans and Ekta Kapoor for letting her be Archana.

Ankita Lokhande shared, “It has been so upsetting for me today, I have seen so many videos which has Sushant, me, the entire family that made me very emotional. Pavitra Rishta is my first show. My feelings towards this show is very different . The entire cast and crew of Pavitra Rishta are very connected to it and we are like a big family, who meet and talk even now.”

She then thanked Ekta Kapoor, producer of the show for seeing Archana in her. Ankita said, “I am very fortunate that Ekta saw Archana in me and I really love her a lot. I am also very thankful to the fans for making Archana so popular.” Ankita Lokhande remembered Sushant Singh Rajput and got emotional. The actress cried and said, “He is not with us and Pavitra Rishta is incomplete without him. Only Sushant was Archana’s Manav). I’m sure vo jahaan bhi hai vahaan dekh raha hai. I hope he is happy wherever he is.”

Ankita also thanked Sushant for teaching her how to act. “Sushant taught me to act, I knew nothing. I was junior and he was very senior. He was a brilliant actor, brilliant co-star and I am very fortunate to work with him.” Ankita also mentioned two of her onscreen mothers Usha Nadkarni and Savita Prabhune whom she still consider as her own mom. Ankita Lokhande shared that she had a lovely time working with Hiten Tejwani , who later replaced Sushant. The actress cut the cake and dedicated it to Sushant and Pavitra Rishta’s fans.
