Pavitra Rishta Filming Begins: Shaheer Sheikh steps in as Manav with Ankita Lokhande

It has been 7 years since Pavitra Rishta went off-air. The show made the cast, Sushant Singh Rajput, Ankita Lokhande and others household names. The show had a very dedicated fan following that spread nationwide and the show had ratings skyrocketing most months. Well, there is some great news for Pavitra Rishta fans as the show is all set to return and the filming has already begun. Ankita will be reprising her role, but playing Manav will be televisions heartthrob Shaheer Sheikh. The first look of Shaheer, Ankita and the rest of the cast just got out and the fans can’t keep calm.

In the picture, Shaheer and Anikta in their Manav and Archana’s avatar were seen holing the clapboard for the camera. In another picture, Shaheer was seen with Usha Nadkarni who played Manav’s bone-chilling mother on the show. Also seen in a picture was Randeep Rai from Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai as well as Asheema Vardhan.

Sharing the pictures of the cast along with Shaheer, the caption on the official handle read, “Sometimes in most ordinary lives, we find the most extraordinary love stories! Witness the extraordinary love story of Manav and Archana. #PavitraRishta Filming begins; streaming soon on #ALTBalaji #ItsNeverTooLate(sic)”

Pavitra Rishta began in 2009 and had entertained the audience for quite a long time. Sushant Singh Rajput was seen as Manav but later he quit the show in 2011 and Hiten Tejwani stepped into his shoes and went on to be Manav for 3 years.
