Shehnaaz Gill’s father Santok Singh Sukh shot by two men in Amritsar- Reports

Actor Shehnaaz Gill’s father Santok Singh Sukh has been shot by two unidentified men after he joined the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). Reportedly, the incident took place when Santok was returning home from Amritsar. According to TOI, on Saturday around 8:30 pm, two men on a bike fired at Santok Singh Sukh while he was heading back from an event. It so happened, Santok took a pit stop en route where his driver took a break and he was sitting in the car. At that moment, two men came near to his car and fired at him.

Reports suggest that Santok Singh Sukh’s gunmen came to his rescue but couldn’t be captured as they fled away instantly. It is said that four gunshots were on the car before he was recused by his gunmen. Soon after the incident, Santok Singh filed a complaint in the nearby police station. He escaped unhurt in the firing, as reported by the same portal.

In another report by Amarujala, the Station House Officer at Jandiala Guru police station said that the police recovered four empty shells from the spot. He further said, “Following a preliminary probe, the matter was found to be suspicious and therefore further investigation was under progress.”

The reports also mentioned that the police are still investigating the matter.

On the other hand, his daughter Shehnaaz Gill is one of the most renowned stars of the Television as well as Punjabi industry. The star who rose to fame after starring in Bigg Boss 13 was last seen in the Punjabi film, Honsla Rakh.
