BJP leader Sonali Phogat died of a heart attack last night in Goa. Reportedly, she complained of uneasiness and was immediately taken to the hospital. Sonali, who was seen in Salman Khan-hosted show Bigg Boss, was 41-years-old. Several celebrities including Rubina Dilaik, Abhinav Shukla, Devoleena Bhattacharjee and others took to social media to share their heartfelt condolences.

Rubina Dilaik took to Twitter and wrote, “Deeply saddened with the news! May your soul rest in peace Sonali Phogat!” Devoleena Bhattacharjee tweeted, “Om Shanti. May the departed soul rest in peace!

Singer Mika Singh shared a photo of Sonali on Instagram and captioned it, “OM SHANTI Shocked and extremely saddened to hear about the passing of the very young beautiful hardworking @sonaliphogatofficial May God bless her soul, RIP. OM SHANTI.”

Himanshi Khurrana also shared a picture of Sonali and wrote, “Shocked!! May her soul rest in peace #OmShanti #SonaliPhogat.” Abhinav Shukla tweeted, “Saddenned & disheartened at very untimely demise of Sonali ji. Heartfelt sympathies & prayers for her daughter! Life is unpredictable. Reminds me again of the quote ‘Live life like its your last’ because one day you going to be right! Om Shanti!” Sangram Singh also took to Twitter and wrote, “Just heard news of suddenly demise of Smt. #SonaliPhogat ji. Pray that God gives peace to her soul and strength to family. Om Shanti.”

Vindu Dara Singh and Eijaz Khan also offered their condolences.

Sonali is now survived by her daughter, Yashodhara.
