Sonali Raut Raises Concerns Over ‘Life Risking’ Conditions On Bigg Boss Marathi 6
Sonali Raut recently posted a concerning video displaying a severe skin infection, just days after accusing makers of Bigg Boss Marathi 6 of maintaining poor hygiene standards. The footage, highlighting visible rashes on her body, has further intensified the controversy surrounding the reality series.
Sonali Raut Shares Visuals Highlighting The Impact On Her Health
Taking to Instagram on April 17, Sonali claimed that her experience on the show had a damaging impact on her health. The actress wrote, “Reality TV shouldn’t mean risking your life. I entered Bigg Boss Marathi 6 with trust, but I was pushed beyond human limits. From contracting a contagious skin disease like scabies due to extreme unhygienic conditions to living with rats and cockroaches in the kitchen, the nightmare was real. It’s time for accountability.”
Sonali Raut Shows Severe Conditions On Her Leg
She further stated that the reality inside the house was far worse than what audiences see on television. According to her, contestants had to deal with unhygienic surroundings, insufficient food, and physically exhausting conditions. She alleged that essential items such as towels and razors were shared among housemates, which she believes contributed to the spread of infection. The actress said, “Beyond the glamour lies a dark reality of starvation, sleep deprivation, and zero hygiene. I was forced to share basic essentials like towels and even razors, leading to a severe skin infection. No one should have to choose between their career and their health.”
Sonali Raut Earlier Issued A Legal Notice
Earlier this month, the actress is said to have issued a legal notice to the makers, accusing them of causing both mental and physical harm. She mentioned that she developed scabies due to the conditions inside the house. And, continues to suffer its after-effects even after leaving the show. Elaborating on her ordeal, Sonali described the environment as highly unsanitary, alleging the presence of rodents in the kitchen and the serving of contaminated food. She also claimed that contestants were at times required to share a single, poorly maintained washroom. Moreover, increasing the risk of health issues.
She further added that there were occasions when she did not receive adequate food and struggled with extreme sleep deprivation. Due to the lack of basic hygiene supplies, contestants reportedly had to share personal-use items, which worsened the situation. Rautalso claimed that she had requested to be evicted because of her declining health. But, alleged that this request was not shown on the broadcast. “I trusted the platform, but my health and well-being were compromised. There needs to be accountability so that no one else suffers like this,” she said.
However, the makers of Bigg Boss Marathi 6 have not yet issued any response to these allegations.
