You might look happy to others, but are you really happy yourself and with your life? This realization and self-acceptance are difficult, but not impossible. Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming web series ‘The Married Woman’ ponders around this very subject. Starring Ridhi Dogra and Monica Dogra in the leads, the teaser of ‘The Married Woman’ is finally out, as it dropped today (February 10, 2021). It has grabbed eyeballs for its unique yet relatable concept of – finding oneself.

The trailer introduces us to Astha (played by Ridhi Dogra). Astha struggles to find herself, but she finally embraces herself, after letting go of everything that stood in her way to happiness. It is yet another path-breaking concept by Ekta Kapoor, who questions shackles our notions of ‘right and wrong.’ It also asks us the easiest yet most confusing question, ‘What is love?’

Astha has a decent life, a good family with a husband, but she is in search of love, a love that is deep and finally makes her fall in love with herself. Amidst all the confusion, she bumps into Peeplika (played by Monica Dogra), who brings about the ‘change’ in her life. Peeplika turns into Astha’s soulmate, who understands her and relates to her like no one else.
