Aamir Khan has reportedly received a death threat allegedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, adding his name to the list of Bollywood stars targeted by the criminal network. It is also reported that Aamir Khan and his team have not yet filed an official complaint. Scroll down to read the full story.
Aamir Khan Threatened By Lawrence Bishnoi Gang For Promoting Love Jihad?
According to NDTV, the alleged threat was posted by Arzu Bishnoi and Tyson Bishnoi. They are said to be associates of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. In the message, Aamir Khan was accused of promoting ‘love jihad’ following his third marriage and was warned of consequences. The post stated, “We promise our brothers, sisters, and fellow citizens that whoever promotes such disgraceful acts will be dealt with in our own way. Those who are encouraging this in the name of stardom will be silenced.”
The message also referenced the kidnapping, trafficking, and sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl in Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar last month. While it acknowledged the swift action taken by the authorities in that case, it warned political leaders allegedly attempting to shield some of the accused, saying, “This is our first and final warning: anyone involved in the crime against that innocent girl and who manages to escape law will be punished by us. Political leaders trying to shield them should stop interfering immediately, or face the same fate as those they protect. Show some humanity.”
The post concluded with tributes to two individuals called “martyred brothers, Parvesh and Himanshu.” They stated, “We will not let your sacrifice go in vain. Our enemies will receive a fitting reply.”
Mumbai Police Begins Probe
Police are currently verifying the threat. As per a report by News18 Hindi, Mumbai Police and the Cyber Cell have begun examining the social media post. The alleged audio clip circulating online is under investigation. Investigators are checking the authenticity of the Facebook account and the voice note, with no official confirmation yet on whether either is genuine or connected to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Aamir Khan and his team have not filed any formal complaint with the Mumbai Police so far. Officials have stated that any legal action will depend on the results of the verification process and whether the actor chooses to approach the authorities officially.
