Actor Abhishek Bachchan is all set to woo the audience with his powerful and serial killer act in Bob Biswas which is a spin-off of Kahaani starring Vidya Balan. As the film has gained immense appreciation from fans, Abhishek is panicking now. Not because of fan’s expectations but is his father Amitabh Bachchan’s hopes. Well, in a recent chat with Mid-Day, the actor revealed that he is Big B’s biggest fan and wants to make him proud with his work. 

He worries if the film doesn’t work, he does not want to crush his hopes. The Breathe actor said to the portal, “I was bowled over and overwhelmed, and I continue to be. I’m his son and his biggest fan. To get your idol to recognise your work, to see your work is a huge compliment in itself. Let alone if you do good work and he thinks you’ve done good work.

Abhishek added, “The fact that he saw the trailer and felt the need to write something about it, is humbling. I’m panicking now because I want the film to be even better because he’s got certain hopes now, and you don’t want his hopes to come crashing down.

For the unversed, Senior Bachchan took to Instagram and shared the trailer of Bob Biswas. He had captioned it, “I am proud to say you are my Son!” Reacting to the post, Abhishek Bachchan commented, “Hurricane season!

Abhishek will be essaying the role of Bob Biswas who is a middle-class man with a lot of problems. However, he becomes a serial killer and is completely unaware of that brutal side of his. The film is directed by Diya Ghosh and written by Sujoy Ghosh who previously helmed Kahaani whereas Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies has bankrolled it. The film which also stars Chitrangda Singh will release on December 3 on Zee 5.
