From starting his journey as a video jockey to making his way into Bollywood, he has come a long way. Now, Aditya Roy Kapur is ready to dive into new waters and will be launching his own music soon.

Here’s what Aditya Roy Kapur on launching his music album

In a recent interview with News18, Aditya Roy Kapur revealed that he will soon be launching his own music album. He said, “I play music and now I’m working on an album that I’ll be hopefully be putting out soon. I’ve been in the studio, working on that. Music has always been a passion and hobby but I’m pursuing it more seriously now.”

I mean no doubt Aditya Roy Kapur played the roled of a singer in Aashiqui 2 with completed passion. He shared, “It had come up as a possibility but it never quite happened. I discussed that with Mohit (Suri) back in the time during Aashiqui 2. He wanted me to go into the studio just to sing the songs and get that sensation of singing them as a singer would because I was playing a singer in the film.”

Aditya fondly reminisced about the recording sessions of The Night Manager and Malang, where he would often find himself singing wholeheartedly inside the recording booth.

While the actor is gearing up for his next film Metro…In Dino, he shared about singing in films. Expressing his thoughts, Aditya said, “I haven’t sung in any film but I’m sure it could happen sometime in the future. I believe that, be it Hindi or English, singing is singing. But I would like to do a little bit of work on singing in Hindi if I want to do it properly for a film.”

Aditya Roy Kapur is already a sight to our sore eyes. And him launching a song album will only keep us wanting for more. Another feature added to his already illustrious hat.

On the work front, the actor is currently basking in the success of The Night Manager Season 2. Next, he will be seen in Anurag Basu directorial Metro…In Dino alongside Sara Ali Khan. The movie also stars Konkona Sen Sharma, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
