Is Ali Fazal making a cameo in Fukrey 3? Richa Chadha drops a MAJOR hint

In January, the makers of Fukrey announced the third part. Richa Chadha, Manjot Singh, Varun Sharma and Pulkit Samrat are reuniting for the third part. However, Ali Fazal is not a part of it. Ali played the role of Zafar in the Fukrey franchise. Earlier in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Ali had revealed the reason behind not being a part of Fukrey 3. Now, Richa Chadha has dropped a major hint about Ali’s potential cameo in the upcoming film.

Ali Fazal to make a cameo in Fukrey 3?

In an interview with News18, Richa was asked if she thinks Ali’s absence will impact the film. To this, Richa said, “Well, the thing is, we are not sure if he’s entirely absent or if he is there in spirit (laughs).” Given Richa’s answer, Ali Fazal may have a cameo in Fukrey 3.

On the other hand, when we asked why he is not a part of the movie, he told us, “Bhai simple answer hai, dates nahi the.” Adding to that, Pulkit shared that when they were shooting for the movie in Delhi, Ali was doing Kandahar. Kandahar is a Hollywood movie which also starred Gerard Butler.

Earlier, Ali had also released an official statement regarding the same. He had said, “So, everyone is asking me about Zafar not being in Fukrey. Sorry my friends, this time he won’t. At times, Zafar has to become Guddu and these two universes overlap. Once a fukra always a fukra so I am around. But I won’t be coming on screen for the third outing of the Fukrey, Bholi, and Panditji.”

The first part of Fukrey was released in 2013. Later, in 2016, Fukrey returned to the big screen with the same cast. In January, Fukrey 3 was announced. All three instalments have been directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. Fukrey 3 is slated to release on September 7, 2023.
