Ali Fazal clicks a selfie with ‘OG’ Tom Cruise at Oscars luncheon, calls him ‘kindest soul’

Actor Ali Fazal shared photos of him posing with ‘OG’ Tom Cruise on Instagram as he attended the Oscars luncheon. The actor clicked a few selfies with the Mission Impossible star. He also penned a long note, explaining the details of his meeting with Cruise. Ali Fazal shared the photos on Instagram with Tom Cruise and called him the ‘kindest soul’ in a room filled with talent.

Taking to his Instagram, the Fukrey actor shared photos from his ‘surreal moments’ from the Academy luncheon. Ali shared a photo with Tom Cruise and described how his meeting was. He said that Cruise left him with an advice he will cherish a lifetime. In his post, Ali also shared a selfie of him with Guneet Monga, Shaunak Sen posing with Cruise. He said that the second picture is team India’s ‘proudest moment’. Fazal further shared a photo of Shaunak Sen engaging in a serious discussion with Mr Cruise.

Sharing the photos, Ali wrote, “Surreal moments from the ACADEMY LUNCHEON TODAY!!! With the real OG , @tomcruise who was the kindest soul in a rooom filled with talent today. Ali Fazal shares selfie with Hollywood celebrities

On his Instagram, Fazal also shared a photo with Martin Mcdonaugh, Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, Daniel Kwan, Jay Tomas, Jerry Bruckheimer and others. Along with the photos, Ali once again described the renowned names who attended the Oscars luncheon as he posed with the stalwarts.

The actor wrote, “So here’s the next drop : Now this was iconic because Martinmcdonaugh @martinmcdonaghofficial has been studied very closely by those who have been acquainted with his plays. I happened to have that chance thanks to @kashinbaba . Remember the behanding in spokane? I was just telling akarsh. AnywayI went on to read the other plays after this performance. Ofcourse in bruges was cult anyway. So here’s the whole lot of them nominated rightfully for Banshees. Picture 2: is the legendary Daniel Kwan who has directed my new favourite of the decade : EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE … yes complete that. Meanwhile, Ali Fazal travelled to Los Angeles to attend the Oscars Luncheon. He became one of the youngest members from India to be elected as a member of the Academy in 2018.

On the work front, the actor has the next season of his popular crime thriller, Mirzapur. Ali has also featured in several Hollywood movies and is even producing content now.
