As soon as Katrina Kaif dropped the trailer on her Instagram handle, her fans and followers were quick to comment and heap praise on it. Well, the trailer has not only left the audience impressed but Alia Bhatt is also left spellbound by it.

Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi are coming together in Sriram Raghavan’s mystery thriller Merry Christmas. The upcoming movie marks their first collaboration.

What’s in the trailer?

The trailer begins with two mixer grinders, one that grinds peanuts and red chillies and another one with what seems like sleeping pills. Then, the trailer introduces the world of Merry Christmas where Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi meet each other on Christmas Eve. Their story takes edgy twists and turns as the trailer unfolds.

Further, the change of dramatic events ends up with Katrina and Vijay in deep trouble. There are certain elements which hint that something is wrong. One where Katrina asks Vijay to choose any one finger. After which she reveals a postcard featuring Rajesh Khanna and states “The night is darkest before the dawn.” As the trailer unfolds further, it promises to keep you on the edge of the seats. 

On this note, Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi starrer Merry Christmas is all set to hit the release date on 12th January, 2024.
