Alia Bhatt is a talented beauty who beautifully brought to life a variety of characters. From Highway, Udta Punjab and Raazi to Gangubai Kathiawadi, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and more, the soon-to-be 31-year-old has proved she can pull off any role.

But how does she choose what she wants to do? The actress, who made her Telugu film debut in 2022 by starring in SS Rajamouli’s RRR, shared her secret at a recent summit. She also revealed the advice the celebrated filmmaker gave her.

While talking at the recently held Forbes 30/50 Summit with Huma Abedi, Alia Bhatt got candid about the golden advice the RRR filmmaker gave her when it came to choosing films. She said, “I asked SS Rajamouli what kind of films I should choose because I’m always torn. He said, whatever you choose, just do it with love. Because even if the film is not good, the audience will see love in your eyes for what you do and they will connect with that. Because, there is nothing greater than love in this world.”

While talking about choosing versatile roles, Alia revealed luck played a part as initially she only said to projects offered to her. The ‘Brahmastra’ actress said, “I’ve also been very lucky. I’m not just blaming everything on luck, but it is a massive factor. Initially, I remember, I was choosing what was coming to me. They (the films) just happened to be different to one another. But genuinely, if I want to pinpoint it, I really believe what you give is what you get. I have a short attention span and I get bored easily. I need to mix it up and keep myself entertained.”
