Sharing a still from one of the film’s most emotional scenes, on her Instagram Story, Alia Bhatt expressed admiration for both Ranveer Singh’s performance and Aditya Dhar’s direction. The image is question is that of Ranveer’s Jaskirat Singh Rangi dressed as a Sikh. In it, the character is visibly emotional and sports several battle scars and quietly looks at the family he had to let go while also reflecting on his journey.
Praising the film and the team, the ‘Alpha’ actress wrote, “Jaskirat Singh Rangi and this moment.. is everything.” She continued, “The magic of the director and the actor in complete sync! @ranveersingh @adityadharfilms” Further congratulating the team for the film’s box office success, Alia added, “Congratulations Team Dhurandhar for this historic run at the movies”

Presented by Jio Studios and produced by Aditya Dhar’s B62 Studios, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is written and directed by Dhar. The espionage thriller is co-produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar. The spy action thriller will see Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor and Gaurav Gera reprise their roles from the first film.
This instalment of the espionage thriller follows Hamza’s rise within the underworld as he further infiltrates the terrorist network in Pakistan and helps take down some of the biggest name in dangerous ecosystem of crime, politics, and terrorism. As he rises up the ranks, the story covers themes of loyalty, betrayal, and the cost of living a double life.
Giving the film a 4.5 star rating, Bollywood Bubble wrote in its review, “Dhurandhar 2 Will Not Disappoint. From Aditya Dhar’s writing and direction to Ranveer Singh’s power-packed but emotional and raw performance to its music, side character arcs, set design, action, VFX and more, all the boxes have been ticked.”
Unlike the first part, this instalment of the high-octane spy-action spectacle has released in five languages — Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
