Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff starrer 1993 released movie Khalnayak is one of the most iconic movies of Hindi cinema. The film became massively popular among fans upon its release and went on to attain cult status. For quite some time buzz about the movie is doing rounds and recently Subhash Ghai has confirmed Khalnayak 2 with Sanjay Dutt. Recently, the filmmaker celebrated his 45^th anniversary and organised a part with Khalnayak cast. He shared a picture with Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt in one frame and we wonder if they are reuniting for Khalnayak 2.

On October 25, the team of Khalnayak reunited for an intimate dinner to celebrate director Subhash Ghai’s wedding anniversary. The filmmaker shared a picture with Khalnayak cast and captioned, “I was touched last night to see my favourite friends n actors of mukta arts at my home to wish us our marriage anniversary and 45 th anniversary of mukta arts n joined the fun. Had a lovely time. Thank you!”

He also shared a pic with Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shrof and recalled Khalnayak days. He wrote, “It’s amazing to talk N laugh heart to heart to your friends actors as good as in 1990s. . We had great laugh together with my Nayak n khalnayak great friends like #SANJAY DUTY N #JACKIE SHROFF on the eve of our 45th anniversary of mukta arts at my home. As young as ever”.

As soon as the filmmaker shared the post, fans were quick enough to comment and demand khalnayak 2.

Madhuri Dixit also took to Instagram to share some pictures from the celebrations. She captioned the post, “It’s the company that makes the evening. A very happy wedding anniversary to @subhashghai1 #MuktaGhai and to @muktaartsltd @anupampkher @duttsanjay @apnabhidu #aboutlastnight (sic).”

About Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt relationship

Sanjay and Madhuri worked together in the movie Saajan, and it was during those days when the rumour mills ran wild about the two’s whirlwind romance. There was a time the two spoke about their equation without inhibitions. There was even a time Sanjay Dutt was ready to leave Richa Sharma and marry Madhuri. However, their relationship turned sour after Dutt got arrested in the 1993 Mumbai Bomb Blast case.

When Khalnayak clocked 30 years of release, Subhash Ghai confirmed the sequel However, her clarified that cast is not yet finalised and tweeted, “The filmmaker tweeted, “As reported in section of media let me clarify that mukta arts has not signed any actor for Khalnayak tho we have been working on its script for last three years with no immediate plan to go on floor. As now we r celebrating 30 years of Khalnayak with stars on 4th Sept.”
