Bollywood superstar Salman Khan‘s Arms Act Case was on it’s final stage today. The court in Jodhpur was to give out it’s judgement on Sallu. Today the court has put it’s verdict on the illegal possession and use of weapons by Salman, to hunt the protected ‘Blackbucks’ and Chinkaras. The alleged incident had taken place during the shoot of Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’in 1998.

The forest department had registered a case with the local police under the Arms Act, alleging that the licenses of the weapons the actor used had expired when he went hunting and so he used them illegally. It is in this case that the verdict was to be pronounced today. Salman Khan’s lawyers have argued that he had applied for a renewal of licence for the weapons almost as soon as it expired and so was not using them illegally.

Salman Khan has in all three poaching cases against him; he has already twice spent time in the Jodhpur jail – in April 2006 and again in August 2007 – in two of those cases and his appeal is pending in the Rajasthan High Court. If found guilty, Salman could be sentenced to between three to seven years in jail, but could be out on bail almost immediately.

Salman Khan is one of the most busiest stars in Bollywood. At present there is much riding on the Khan. His arrest could cause a massive financial disaster in Bollywood.

Salman Khan is at present shooting for Kabir Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan,’ and Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.’
