The probe into the Aryan Khan drug case is still underway and in the course, some shocking updates are being revealed. Just sometime back, a surprising video surfaced online saying that a witness in the drug case was asked to sign a blank paper while Prabhakar Sail claimed that KP Gosavi made a deal with Sam D’Souza where trying to settle the case for Rs 18 crores, in addition, Narcotics Control Bureau chief Sameer Wankhede demanded a whopping Rs 8 crore from actor Shah Rukh Khan to release his son in the drugs case. 

However, in an affidavit filed by Prabhakar Sail, the personal bodyguard to KP Gosavi, claimed that he heard Gosavi speak to Sam D’Souza about the deal. After the video went viral online, netizens slammed NCB as well Sameer Wankhede. After seeing the hue and cry on social media, NCB issued an official statement, dismissing the allegations by Sail. In the statement, it is Wankhede has categorically denied these allegations while requesting him to take necessary action.

His statement read, “An affidavit by Mr Prabhakar Sail, a witness in crime number 94/2021 of MUMBAI ZONAL UNIT of NCB has come to my notice through social media. In the said affidavit, Mr Prabhakar has given details about his movements and activities on 2nd of October 2021, the day above crime was registered. As he is a witness in the case and as the case is before the honorable court and sub-judice, he needs to submit his prayer to the Honorable court rather than through social media if he has anything to say. In addition, there are certain vigilance related allegations against certain persons in the affidavit which are based on overhearing by Mr Prabhakar. Our zonal director, Mumbai Zonal Unit, Mr. Sameer Wankhede has categorically denied these allegations. As some of the contents of the affidavit relate to vigilance matters, I am hereby by forwarding the affidavit to Director General Narcotics Control Bureau and requesting him for further necessary action

Meanwhile, Aryan Khan is currently in judicial custody till 30th October after his bail plea was rejected. He will be moving to the Bombay High Court to appeal for his bail.
