Aryan Khan drug case: Ananya Panday won’t appear today; requests NCB for further date

Actor Ananya Panday was also summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau due to her alleged connection to the Aryan Khan drug case on the cruise ship. The Student Of The Year 2 actor was interrogated due to her WhatsApp chats with Aryan Khan in which she allegedly arranged ‘ganja’ (weed) for the latter. She appeared at the NCB office along with her father Chunkey Panday on Friday and Saturday where she was grilled for approximately 4 hours. She was also asked to reappear on Monday, October 25. However, now the latest reports suggest that she won’t be appearing today before the NCB and has requested a further date.

Due to some personal reasons, she has made a request which was has been accepted by the agency. Having said that, the officials will soon issue a fresh summon date for Ananya Panday. News agency ANI tweeted, “Actor Ananya Panday is not appearing before NCB today in the ongoing drugs case. She has requested NCB for a further date due to personal commitments. NCB has accepted her request; to issue her fresh summons for another date: NCB Sources”

Meanwhile, this would be the third time where Ananya Panday will be grilled for her alleged connection to the drug case. It is reported that Panday was the one who provided Khan with drug dealers numbers. Moreover, another report mentioned that Ananya has denied using drugs or helping to source them for Aryan Khan in the drug case.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s son Aryan Khan bail has been rejected one more time and he was remand in custody till October 30.
