Aryan Khan drug case has been heard today by the Bombay High Court. The 23-year-old son of superstar Shah Rukh Khan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on October 3 due to his alleged involvement in the drugs-on-cruise case. Earlier, a Special NDPS Court in Mumbai had rejected their bail applications on October 19. Now, the bail hearing of Aryan Khan drug case at the Bombay High Court is still underway where his lawyer Mukul Rohatgi is fighting for him. He argues that Aryan just went there on the cruise ship and did not consume anything. However, Khan’s lawyer told the court that he is entitled to rehab in his arguments against NCB.

One of the tweets of Live Law reads, “Rohatgi says that Aryan Khan had gone there with Arbaaz. That’s all. ‘They are some boys..the law provides that for small quantities the maximum punishment is one year. And there is also immunity from prosecution after they go to a rehabilitation centre’ – Rohatgi. Rohatgi even highlights that “there was no recovery, no consumption or no medical test done as far as Aryan Khan is concerned.”. The lawyer then concluded his arguments by saying, “I respectfully submit that this case is for bail.

Amidst his bail hearing, actor Ananya Panday was also summoned by the NCB after they found her WhatsApp chats with Aryan Khan in which she allegedly arranged ‘ganja’ (weed) for the latter.

Earlier, a video was circulating on Twitter that raised several questions. In the video, a witness was made to sign a blank paper in the Mumbai drugs case. Besides this, Prabhakar Sail, an independent witness in the drug case claimed that Rs 25 crore was demanded by an NCB officer and KP Goswami to release Aryan Khan from the case. Sail, the personal bodyguard to KP Gosavi, also claimed that he heard Gosavi speak to Sam D’Souza about the deal. However, the NCB official then released an official statement where he ‘categorically denied these allegations.’
