Bhediya: Varun Dhawan & Kriti Sanon meet Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu ahead of their shoot; view pics

Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon are currently gearing up for their next, Bhediya. It will be the third movie in Dinesh Vijan’s horror universe after Stree and Roohi. Varun and Kriti landed in Arunachal Pradesh to begin filming for Bhediya and before beginning their shoot, the team decided to meet up with the CM of Arunachal Pradesh Pema Khandu.

The CM was all praise for the team of the upcoming horror-comedy and also applauded them for taking the initiative to promote the state for filming movies. Varun and Kriti were seen flaunting Bhediya merchandise as they were wearing black sweatshirts with the movie’s name on them.

Khandu took to his Twitter handle and sharing pictures with Team Bhediya, he wrote, “Pleased to meet Bollywood Star Shri @Varun_dvn Ji & @kritisanon Ji and their team during their call on. They are in Arunachal to shoot for the movie #BHEDIYA. Happy to know they are enjoying their time here and are keen on promoting #Arunachal as popular film destination.”

In another tweet, Pema wrote, “It was lovely meeting Shri @amarkaushik Ji, a popular Bollywood Director today during his call on with producer team of movie #Bhediya. Shri Kaushik Ji grew up in Arunachal. His father was a forest ranger who worked for the Indian Forest Service and his mother a school teacher.”

Bhediya is set to release on April 14 next year and apart from Varun and Kriti the movie also stars Abhishek Banerjee and Deepak Dobriyal.
