After weeks of speculation and big names coming and going for Don 3 casting, the latest actor reportedly being considered for the role of the villain is Bigg Boss 18 winner Karan Veer Mehra. Directed by Farhan Akhtar, Don 3 stars Ranveer Singh in the lead, taking forward the iconic franchise once led by Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.

Karan Veer Mehra Reportedly In Talks For Don 3 Antagonist Role

Since the film’s announcement in 2023, it has faced constant chatter—especially around casting choices. While Ranveer Singh received mixed reactions for stepping into such a legendary role, he assured fans through a social media post that he would give it his all.

Initially, Vikrant Massey was said to have been cast as the antagonist, but reports claim he backed out due to the role lacking depth. Following his exit, names like Vijay Deverakonda and Aditya Roy Kapur were allegedly approached, but none were confirmed.

Now, fresh reports suggest Karan Veer Mehra is being considered. According to a source quoted by IANS, “Nothing is confirmed yet, but Karan is definitely being considered. His recent transformation and screen presence in Silaa have impressed many in the industry.” Karan was also recently spotted outside Excel Entertainment’s office, adding more fuel to the speculation.

Meanwhile, Kiara Advani, who had been roped in as the female lead, has reportedly stepped away from the project due to her pregnancy and recent childbirth. Kriti Sanon is now said to be replacing her.

While the makers remain silent on official confirmations, the casting mystery of Don 3 continues to stir excitement and debate among fans eagerly waiting for the franchise’s next chapter.
