Bihar CM Nitish Kumar is willing to act if Sushant Singh Rajput’s father requests for CBI probe

Bihar’s Water Resource Minister Sanjay Kumar Jha has said that if Sushant Singh Rajput’s family requests for a CBI probe then Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will definitely act over it. The Bihar government is actively working towards seeking justice for Sushant’s family.

Sanjay Kumar Jha took to his Twitter handle to share that Bihar Police is investigating Sushant’s case within their rights. He wrote, “1/2 ~ The @bihar_police is well within its rights to investigate #SushantSinghRajputDeathCase in #Mumbai. @MumbaiPolice should cooperate with them to deliver justice. His father and his family deserve nothing less than a fair investigation in this case. @NitishKumar”

Further, he added, “2/2 ~ If father of #SushantSinghRajpoot, Shri KK Singh wants a #CBI inquiry in the case, the Bihar Government is willing to assist him. We are deeply concerned about reports in media about foul play, and therefore wish that fair investigations should get to the bottom of truth.”

According to a report by PTI, Jha said, “For a good 45 days, they (Mumbai Police) did not do anything to unravel the mystery shrouding Sushant’s suicide, except for using the time to indulge in photo-op and event management … and now when the Bihar Police team is doing a sincere probe they are creating hurdles for them.” Jha also added, “The Chief Minister will definitely act if demand for a CBI inquiry comes from the family of Sushant.”
