Breaking: ‘2 cr’ deal for Aamir Khan and wife

Bollywood Perfectionist Aamir Khan who has always been shy of endorsing any product, has recently had a change of heart. If the latest rumours are to be believed, then Aamir Khan along with his wife Kiran Rao will soon be seen endorsing a household product. Aamir has been offered a deal of Rs.2 crores for an hour long shoot.

Aamir Khan had stayed clear of endorsements, since he has been hosting talk show Satyamev Jayate on television. As he played a crusader on the show for various causes, he felt that he should promote only those products that were socially relevant.

Sources said, “Aamir is considered to be the highest paid star for his endorsements. Normally, ad shoots take two to three days. But Aamir is being paid Rs 2 crore for an hour long shoot. The makers feel having Kiran with him on screen will add novelty.”

After Aamir Khan’s stint with Satyamev Jayate, he was roped in as the brand ambassador of a leading business house. So if the deal comes through, Aamir joins other Bollywood couples like Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan, Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Saif Ali and Kareena Kapoor Khan, who have been seen together in ads.
