EXCLUSIVE: ‘BUF Member’ Hirav Mehta REACTS To Being Tagged ‘India’s Best Driver’ Following Dhurandhar The Revenge Performance; Says, “Script Padke I Was Like…”

Hirav Mehta, popularly known as the ‘BUF Rebel’, opens up about the overwhelming love he’s received from audiences following his performance in Dhurandhar: The Revenge. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, he talks about earning the ‘India’s Best Driver’ after his car chase scene in the Aditya Dhar’s directorial. Hirav Mehta Opens Up On Receiving ‘India’s Best Driver’ Tag Following His Car Blast Scene

When asked whether he expected to receive the ‘India’s Best Driver’ following his performance in Dhuandhar 2, Hirav Mehta said, “Yeh joh pyaar mil raha hai audience se, yeh joh tag mil gaya hai heavy driver, F1 driver of India, I mean it’s great. I’m loving it. Aise legendary actors ke saath kaam kiya hai maine if film mein aur usme se agar main dikh bhi Raha hu aur audience mujhe itna pyaar se rahe hai, it’s a big thing for me. Jab mujhe woh scene Mila aur maine woh padha I was like oh my god. I’m killing one of the most important characters in the film. Sanjay dutt sir is playing this character.”

Talking further about the prominence of his character, he added, “It was a big thing for me. Reading this script I was like ‘Oh wow.’ And then, jabhi woh scene shoot kar rahe the, toh mujhe kahi na kahi realise hua ki koi dialogue hota toh accha lagta. But you know, an actor, koi bhi agar uske paas script aaraha hai, he will want to perform. He will want to give his best. Toh I think, maine woh mindset rakha ki agar chalo dialogue nahi bhi hai toh main mere expression se, mere emotion se kaise show kar saku ya audience ke dil tak pohoch saku ki main kuch karne wala hu. Kisi ko leke marne wala hu. And I think I was successful in doing that.”

Hirav Mehta Reveals A Mystery Behind His Character

When asked about a mystery behind his character, Hirav Mehta said, “It’s not a mystery. But if you notice, in Part 1, main woh viral walk mein bhi tha. Agar aapne notice kiya hoga ya nahi, but I was exactly in the line of Ranveer Singh sir. Aur usme bhi main dikh raha hoon. And you know, in Dhuandhar 1, when they are coming to take by the guns, Akshaye Khanna sir woh guns ki chitthi dene aate hain, usme main exactly unke left side pe hoon aur Sherani sahab ke baaju mein peeche khada hoon. So wahan pe bhi main dikh raha hoon.”

He added, ” So kahin na kahin Part 2 mein woh connection aa raha hai ki, I am over there aur kuch na kuch toh hone wala hai. To be honest, when I was shooting for that particular scene where I am walking with Akshaye Khanna sir in that viral Flipperachi song, that time I did not know ki what I am going to do. But on the second day, mujhe samajh mein aa gaya ki okay, something is coming now.”

The actor concluded, “Because you know, there was a scene in Part 2 when Ranveer Singh comes in that ‘didi wala’ song, his entry scene. So, in that, if you might have noticed, in the end Ranveer Singh sir, Shirani aur main, we three are standing, and the camera pans on me. So, when I got that scene, I was like, oh, abhi crazy kuch hone wala hai.”
