Ajay Devgn-Luv Ranjan’s ‘De De Pyaar De’ gets a release date

Director Luv Ranjan, who is riding high on the success of his film ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’, has announced his next film titled ‘De De Pyaar De’ which stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet in the lead. The makers of the film have now announced the release date of the film.

T-Series, who is co-producing the film with Luv Films, took to Twitter to announce the release date which is February 22, 2019. Sharing the tweet, they wrote, “.@luv_ranjan’s #DeDePyaarDe with @AjayDevgn to release on 22nd February 2019. Produced by @itsBhushanKumar & @gargankur, the film also stars #Tabu & @Rakulpreet. The film produced by @TSeries & @Luv_Films marks the directorial debut of @a_akiv.”

If reports are to be believed, ‘De De Pyaar De’ was earlier supposed to release this year in October and would clashed with Vipul Shah’s ‘Namastey England’, but the makers wanted to avoid the clash and hence changed the date of release.

Apart from ‘De De Pyaar De’, Luv Ranjan is also gearing up for his next with Ajay Devgn and Ranbir Kapoor. The untitled film will hit the screens on Christmas 2020.

Coming to Ajay’s films, he will next be seen in ‘Total Dhamaal’ which also features Madhuri Dixit, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Jaaved Jaaferi, Ashish Chowdhry and others. The third installment in the ‘Dhamaal’ franchise will release on December 7, 2018. Ajay will also be seen in a period drama titled ‘Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior’. Reportedly, Kajol will be seen as the female lead and Saif Ali Khan has been approached to play the antagonist in the film. Ajay also has ‘Chanakya’ and a biopic on Syed Abdul Rahim, who was Indian football team’s coach and manager.
