Daisy Shah On Working Experience With Salman Khan
When asked about debuting in Tere Naam with Salman and then doing Jai Ho with him, Daisy Shah admitted it was a full circle of life. She said, “Okay, so when I was finalised for Jai Ho, I still had that question mark on my face. While we were filming for Jai Ho, I still had that question mark on my face. When Jai Ho was releasing, I still had that question mark on my face, which means I was still processing, ‘Yeh kya hai? Is this really happening?’ And hence, the entire filming process, I mean, mere liye it was like walking on cloud nine. Okay, but question mark for what? Like, is this really happening with me? Is it really happening? Is it really me? Like, can I pinch myself? Is this my reality?”
When asked when she accepted this was happening for real, Daisy said, “On the day of the premiere that we did in Dubai. Jai Ho’s first premiere was in Dubai, and we were walking the red carpet. And I could see the entire crowd there. Obviously, they were all there for Salman Khan, definitely, but I was just like, ‘Oh my God, this is it. This is my moment.’ I think that’s when I felt that, okay, I have arrived.”

Speaking about feeling pressured to work with Salman Khan. The actress said, “Initially, during that time, the pressure was ki meri wajah se…because we had Tabu ma’am also, one of the finest actors we have. Toh meri wajah se unke one-take or two-take okay ho jaate the… meri wajah se 50 takes na dene pad jaayein. But I was so blessed that they were the people who came and told me, ‘Hum pehle rehearse karenge, uske baad hum take karenge. So don’t worry, you take your time.’”
