Deepika Padukone made her Bollywood debut with Farah Khan’s Om Shanti Om. The actress starred alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the same. Over the years, Deepika has worked with SRK in movies like Happy New Year, Chennai Express, and Pathaan. Recently, Deepika made a special cameo in SRK’s latest film Jawan. In the Atlee directorial, Deepika played SRK’s wife and mother. She won hearts as Aishwarya Rathore in the film. Now, Deepika Padukone has revealed her fees for Jawan.

In a recent interview with a magazine, Deepika was asked about her cameo appearances and she said, “I don’t charge for my cameos.”

Before Jawan, Deepika also made a cameo in Ranveer Singh starrer 83 which was released in 2021. Talking about the same, she said, “I wanted to be a part of 83 because I wanted it to be an ode to women who stand behind their husbands’ glory. I watched my mother do it. This was my homage to wives who make sacrifices to support their husbands’ careers.”

Adding to that, Deepika said, “Any special appearance for Shah Rukh Khan, I am there. Same with Rohit Shetty.”

Furthermore, when asked about her bond with SRK, Deepika said, “We are each other’s lucky charm. But honestly, we are beyond luck. We have a sense of ownership over each other.”

On the other hand, Deepika has interesting projects in the pipeline. The actress will be seen in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter. She will be sharing screen space with Hrithik Roshan in the same. Fighter also stars Anil Kapoor and is slated to release on 25th January, 2024. Apart from that, Deepika also has Kalki 2898 AD. The Nag Ashwin directorial also stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Disha Patani.
