Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for the return of Jawan 2. Sources indicate that the script has been finalised and that work is set to begin once he wraps up King. The sequel to the 2023 blockbuster is expected to go on floors next year. Shah Rukh Khan is preparing for his next big franchise move. Currently focused on completing King, the actor is set to revisit one of his biggest hits. There are early plans for a Jawan sequel now firmly in place.

Shah Rukh Khan To Gear Up For Jawan 2 After King?

Sources told India Today that Jawan 2 has moved beyond the ideation stage. The script has been locked recently, months after development. “A script and idea for Jawan 2 had been in the works for a while. A few weeks ago, the script was finalised. SRK will begin work on the film after completing King,” a source revealed.

The makers are also exploring casting options for a formidable antagonist. “The team is looking to lock an A-lister from the South as the villain,” the source added.

The sequel is likely to go on floors next year. This shall mark another collaboration between Khan and director Atlee, whose first Hindi outing, Jawan, turned into a record-breaking success across markets.
