Dhurandhar Song FA9LA Rapper-Singer Flipperachi CANCELS India Shows Amid Israel-Iran Conflicts

Bahraini rapper Flipperachi, who gained widespread recognition in India with his viral hit FA9LA from the film Dhurandhar, will not be performing at his scheduled shows in India. The artist was set to perform at the UN40 Music & Beyond festival in Bengaluru on March 14-15 and at a separate event in Mumbai on March 13.

However, due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East, he is unable to travel. This means fans in India will have to wait a bit longer to see him perform live. An official statement from Saregama India confirmed the news. It stated, “In light of the current situation in the Middle East and Bahrain, Flipperachi will not be able to perform at UN4O this weekend. While we were excited to have him on the lineup, the circumstances make it difficult for him to travel at this time. We continue to look forward to an amazing weekend of performances and unforgettable moments at UN4O (sic).”

The performance in Mumbai at Phoenix Marketcity was also marked as cancelled. And Flipperachi has not issued any statement specifically about that show.

Viral Success Of FA9LA In Dhurandhar

FA9LA, Flipperachi’s energetic track, became an internet sensation. It featured Akshaye Khanna’s entrance scene as a villain in Dhurandhar. The song quickly soared in popularity across social media and music platforms, with fans sharing dance videos and reaction clips.

Flipperachi’s Reaction To FA9LA’s Popularity In India

In an interview with India Today, Flipperachi reflected on the song’s rapid growth. He said, “To be honest, it’s crazy. My DMs are blowing up every single day. I cannot keep up with the people that are just tagging me for the song and enjoying and vibing with it. So it’s been a crazy, crazy time.”

He also shared how FA9LA was selected for the film. “They were looking for a song for Akshaye’s entrance, him as a villain. When they heard the song, with its dark strings and intense vibe, they said it was perfect for the entrance. The call came in, the decision was instant, and we just thought, let’s go with it.”

Flipperachi expressed that the enthusiastic response from India has been very special. “India is the main entertainment hub, so if Indians love your song, then you are successful,” he said.
