During a press conference on Wednesday, viral ‘Kumbh Mela’ girl Monalisa Bhosle levelled some serioud accus*tions against The Diary Of Manipur director Sanoj Mishra. At the event, the Kumbh girl-turned-actress accused the filmmaker of s*xual misconduct. Sanoj Mishra Responds To S*xual Ass*ult Allegations By Monalisa

During a recent interaction with Hindustan Times, Sanoj Mishra reacted to Monalisa’s claims saying, “She is getting me embroiled in such a big controversy because her family of almost 7-8 members are living at my house in Ujjain till this day.”

During the same interaction, Sanoj also referred to videos involving her family opposing her marriage. Responding directly to the accusations and highlightening its timing, Mishra added, “Jab itne dino maine mehnat kar ke dialogue bolna, acting karna, story samjhna se lekra hasna, rona sab sikha raha tha then she had no issues. If she would have been assaulted, she could have complained to her family then and there.”

The filmmaker further claimed that the issue between them escalated after he objected to her marriage to actor Farman Khan – which he described as controversial. He stated that he intends to take legal action against Monalisa, indicating that a defamation case may be filed soon. Talking about the future of their project – The Diary Of Manipur, Sanoj Mishra said, “Also, picture toh ab nahi banegi because she didn’t bother about it, and for me it’s a different matter altogether.”

About the Accusation

During the Wednesday press conference, Monalisa – who was all set to make her acting debut in The Diary Of Manipur, alleged that Sanoj Mishra behaved inappropriately with her on multiple occasions. She claimed the ass*ults took place during shoots in Nepal and Dehradun. During the interaction, she stated that she was even subjected to unwanted physical contact. During the interaction, she also alleged that her family advised her against filing a complaint at the time, asking her to first focus on the film and not jeopardise the opportunity.
