This is a film about the changing times of the country. It’s about how a sport changed the outlook of the youth towards the country. It’s about the captain of the team at that time, Sourav Ganguly, and the inspiration that he passed on to the youth of that time. There have been people who took inspiration from that aggressive outlook of Sourav Ganguly which forms a crux of the movie. So in the movie, we haven’t tried to dramatize the moments from history, but we have used the actual footage and tried to combine it with fiction. It’s a new sort of an experiment where fiction and documentary have been brought together,” said Abhinay.
