Ekta Kapoor is one of the most celebrated Indian television and movie producers. She has done a remarkable work in promoting female-centric content in India. Recently, the content czarina added another feather to her hat as she received the International Emmy Directorate Award at the 51st International Emmy Awards in New York on 20th November. The renowned producer-filmmaker became the first Indian to win the prestigious accolade. After the big win, Ekta Kapoor is now back to the bay and she proudly flaunted her Emmy Award at the Mumbai airport.

On 27th midnight, Ektaa was papped at the Mumbai airport. The producer was all smiles as she posed for the paps and proudly showed off her Emmy Award. She was in her casual look as she proudly held the golden award. For the unversed, apart from Ektaa, comedian Vir Das also won the award.
Ekta Kapoor gives heartfelt speech after winning Emmy
The Emmy Award ceremony was held in New York on 20th November and Ektaa was conferred with award by renowned author Deepak Chopra. After her win, she took to her social media and shared glimpse of the award and her winning speech. A part of her speech was, “This award is for you, India and all the Indians here! We are few, but we’re enough. This is for you, India. In your history, I find my stories in your strength and your tenacity, I find my grit to my motherland. I am bringing home your Emmy.” Apart from this, she also thanked her family and Son Ravie for being her strength.
Talking about Ektaa’s upcoming movies, the diva is currently bankrolling Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan’s yet-to-be-titled movie which will release on 15 August 2025.
